Security notices

  • Nothing is uploadedViewing, creating and compressing .luna files happen entirely in this browser tab — the files never leave your device. In P2P transfers the server only ever relays encrypted frames; it stores none of your data.
  • Real encryption, not a checkboxPassword sealing uses AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 stretched across 600,000 iterations — the same construction the reference LUNA tool accepts. P2P signaling is sealed with a key derived from your pairing code, so the server can't read it either.
  • Everything is verifiedEvery container carries a SHA-256 integrity footer. Every compressed stream is decompressed and byte-compared before it is allowed to ship. Every P2P file is re-hashed on arrival and both screens show a matching safety number.
  • You are the only key holderPairing rooms live on the server keyed only by a hash of the code — never the code itself — and expire in 30 minutes. Share links use opaque random tokens. Losing a password means losing the archive; there is no recovery and no backdoor.

Folder archives open like a file explorer: back/forward, address bar, folder listings — and nested .luna files open right in place.

Embed-only share links

Mint an encrypted link to any video, image, audio or .luna file — Discord and friends embed the media itself. Flip Private off to let the link open the viewer too.

Link redirecter

Wrap any URL in an encrypted redirect link. Visitors consent — Yes, always to this domain, Yes or No — while direct media destinations forward instantly and Discord shows a caution card.
